Florida Captioning Services (FCS) was founded in 1989 in order to meet the captioning needs of the Orlando, Florida NBC affiliate, WESH-TV, which was the first network affiliate in the state to caption local news programming. FCS has continued to grow, providing real-time captioning throughout the nation and around the world.
